Our famous jail cell held Lee Harvey Oswald! Several people guessed that, but it is only partially correct. Another famous guest was held in these cells. Stay tuned.
Where are these cells? This small jail was part of the police department that used to be where University of North Texas – Dallas School of Law now stands. 106 South Harwood, Street, Dallas. The cells were briefly opened for people to see but it is my understanding that they are no longer open. They are, however, being preserved.

Tours: I can’t get you in to see these cells – apologies. But our tours start on the same block as the grassy knoll, the Kennedy Memorial and the 6th Floor Museum, so make a day of it.
