The Salvation Army has modified their Angel Tree so that the entire process can be conducted online!
I know this year has been tough on a lot of people. But, if there is someone on your holiday gift list that has dang near everything, please consider sponsoring an angel in their name. There are FIFTEEN THOUSAND unclaimed names on the Salvation Army Angel Tree right now. Jason and I sponsored two kids and it was SUPER easy. The website gives you the name of your sponsored person and a code number. You can shop online and put the name and code in the shipping instructions to make sure it gets to ‘your’ angel. Easy peasy! No in person shopping or drop off! You can pick a name, shop for your person, and have it shipped all within an hour! Make TWO people’s holidays better (said person who has everything and a child/senior in need).
The website has detailed instructions about in person drop-offs or direct shipping. When you select a person to sponsor, a very detailed list of the wants and needs of that person appear – sizes, colors, etc. It is all very streamlined.
