For our final (!) post about H.H. Holmes in this twenty-four part series (!), we return to Frank Geyer.  Remember our tenacious Philadelphia detective who was integral to the conviction of Holmes?  Geyer went on to pen a book about the case after Holmes was executed.   As it was a first-hand account of the investigation, the book was quite the rage at the time.

The book has passed out of copyright, so you can purchase a relatively cheap reprint of it online.  Detective Geyer nor his estate will make any money off the sale, but I like to help keep his name alive on Amazon.  Ha.
