Devil in the White City has been a pet project of Leonardo DiCaprio for a while now. I will let you judge if the movie star looks like the actual serial killer who was captured in 1894. What I do know is that Herman Mudgett, aka H.H. Holmes, died when he was 35ish years old (his birthdate is unverified) and Leo is already 44 years old with the start of filming no where in sight. That means 45+ year old Leonardo DiCaprio is set to play a serial killer who committed most of his killings during his early 30s.
While Mudgett/Holmes is famous for his ‘Murder Castle’ in Chicago, two of his victims were sisters raised in the Dallas area, owning property in Oak Cliff and Fort Worth.
