Most articles (even contemporary newspapers) list Minnie Williams’ uncle as Dr. JRP Williams, having died in 1878.
Well, I found him – all the way through 1881 and his name is actually Dr. JNB Williams. The middle of the page shows Willliams, JNB, estate of – the three names listed after his are renters to property he owned (I assume – he accumulates that property slowly through the years).
Who is Minnie Williams? One of serial killer H.H. Holmes’ victims from the 1890s. I am researching her life which seems to be a rather tragic one even before she met the famous serial killer in Chicago.
