Things to do Saturday on the Square in Garland:
10 am to 2 pm: Visit the Garland Landmark Museum. Pick up your scavenger hunt for local businesses. Find the correct business for each question, get your free buttons!
2 pm to 4 pm: Make art at the Frocksy. Big Tex collage. Save your spot by signing up at their Facebook page. Classes are very small because ….social distancing, y’all.
7 pm to 10 pm: Listen to live music at Instrinsic Brewery. They have a lovely huge patio next door to the brewery or you can sit in the square with your beer and still hear the music. Because ….social distancing.
7:30 pm: Take a historic tour with me. 45 minutes, $10 cash, leaving from the Frocksy.
The square has a lot of well-preserved buildings from the 1890s through 1910s, and the Frocksy is one of them. I will stay 6+ feet away from you while shouting crazy Garland historical facts through my mask. Not in a violent way. In a frenzied I LOVE HISTORY kind of way.
