Who is this hottie? Maximillian A Orlopp, Jr! The architect behind the Old Red Museum.
Max A Orlopp was schooled at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. He went in to civil engineering and then architecture. He was responsible for several buildings in Dallas – so many, in fact, that he ultimately moved to Dallas. So far, we have looked at Old Red and the Scollard Building. He was also responsible for the impressive Jasper County Courthouse in Missouri. We will be looking at a few more buildings that he designed. We will also be wrapping up his life, which has a rather rough ending.
